Universeel Maatwerk: Ruimte voor iedereen

The project 'Universally Tailored: Space for Everyone' concerns the design and implementation of the new permanent exhibition set-up for Arcam (Architectuur Centrum Amsterdam). We were interested by Arcam's Open Call because of the combination of both socially and physically sustainable ambitions, namely: (1) to raise awareness for universal design, (2) to improve the accessibility of Arcam without modifying the building, (3) and to make exhibition production more sustainable and simpler. Moreover, as part of our Architect in Residency at Arcam, we took the opportunity via video and audio recordings to reflect on the use and movement of various visitors within the new exhibition design and in Arcam's immediate surroundings.
